Independent Trip to Mexico in 2011
Our Pathfinder Mexico Friendship Project is now officially under way. Girls and their families will be putting a great deal of effort into fundraising events over the summer and next 1½ years. Each girl's goal is to raise $3,000 for a 2-week journey to World Guiding Centre 'Our Cabaña', in Cuernavaca, Mexico in 2011. The trip will include humanitarian work, cultural and friendship components as well as some sightseeing and fun, of course! (For information on Our Cabaña, see www.ourcabana.org.)
Girl members from MIA, born between the years 1994 and 1997 are eligible to apply. For information and application forms, contact Lantzville Pathfinder Guiders Heather Mortimer and
Lantzville Pathfinders has opened an account at the Mostar Bottle Depot, should you wish to donate your recyclables to our Mexico fund.
